Hi all,
Has anyone tried playing with the timing on the Sv650? wondering if its worth getting a pcv. I know ignition timing needs to be good but wondering if suzuki have already got it bang on. Cheers, jay. |

Only if you have made other significant engine changes.

the stepped woodfuff mod or slotted pickups are the two cheaper methods of adjusting, but as above the benefits are mostly dependent on other work carried out.
Cheers Mark.

Been thinking of building another engine possibly to do teh Manx next year. I run Minitwins now but wondered if a few reliable BHP coudl be gained by dialed in cams, open air box, ignition advance, air box spacers and a custom map? This is on a K7 twin spark.. just like the idea of being able to put a motor back to stock\legal (72bhp)
