how much petrol? - SV650.org

how much petrol does one go through on a track day? Got brands hatch booked for tomor and wondering how much fuel i am going to need.

I am driving to and from the track in the car. the petrol is purely for the track.

bike is cbr600rr. Fill it up to full tank? should i carry two jerry cans?

I'd guess that a tank of fuel and a jerry can should suffice. Depending on how much track time you get & how you ride

If I ride to Snetterton on a full tank from mine (about 45miles) I'll need to top up at lunch time after 2 or 3 20min sessions on my SV

My cbr600r would nearly do a full day on one tank and one jerry can. I say nearly cos on the last lap if the last session I had to pull in to the second exit point at snetterton my bike starting stuttering. Oops.

So yeah one tank til lunch then stick both jerry cans in.

full tank and jerry was spot on. nice to see some people have good measuring tools to measure the length of that piece of string
