Main barrel can be a pig to get off, so take the top yoke off and disconnect the wiring from the loom.

Mr Suzuki uses a lot of thread lock on the bolts, which are torx security ones, which is why suggest you take the yoke off, as you'll need to get good purchase on the bolts to get them off. You can't do this with the yoke in place.

To get to the wiring, you'll need to lift the tank at the front, so take the front seat off, which might help you get to the cable release for the rear seat.

Easy to take the front seat off

See the little black panels on each side under the riders seat, take out the little allen button bolt that holds it in place, swing out of the way & theres the bolts on each side that hold the riders seat in place.

Remove each to remove the seat & gain access to the battery box (underneath the relay/fuse tray).
