Missed chances - SV650.org

While bimbling up to Norwich early this morning I was gutted to be missing some good shots. The sun was low and orange, there was a mist hanging over the freshly baled hay. I really wished I could have stopped and taken a few shots. Anyone else get like this?

All the time.

Coming home after a shoite shift with a huge, yellow moon hanging over the world. I could have killed for my Canon EOS 60d and tripod.

Camera in pocket
Out of back door
Helluva commotion in tree
feathers flying
Pigeon beats a retreat closely followed by Sparrow Hawk
(many more ) feathers flying + lots of squawking
Birds beat a retreat
All over in 20 seconds
Camera in pocket

Seems lately all the pics I see worth taking are :
a. when I don't have the camera
b.when I can't stop because of traffic
c. don't have time to stop
