Just watched the moto gp qualifying and Marquez was unbelievable on his honda. Fastest laps whilst tucking the front stoppie'ing over hills, and basically enjoying himself with near death experiences. Rossi is a good smooth rider but this kid is something else!! Fast out of control (to watch) but lightening quick
history in the making..... |

Is it conceivable that he could win every race. If he stays uninjured and the bike stays as reliable as it is, I think it's possible.

He's reignited my interest in motogp, Lorenzo winning every race was getting boring, this lad is exciting.

He is constantly beyond the limit, it's amazing but you're constantly thinking it's only a matter of time before it bites back hard. The Honda is definitely the machine to have just now, which helps him stay in front of the pack.
But he's always been uber-gifted. I think it was Sepang 2012 where he won from the back of the grid? On a moto3, where power outputs are near equal across the field and it was his pure skill that got him the win. He pushed everywhere every lap. Been glued to his performances ever since. Haggis are you referring to the Moto 2 Valencia race where it was damp and he was demoted for a dodgy overtake in practice to the back of the grid, and managed to get into second before closing down what was about a six second gap to take the victory?

That's the one. Yes, moto2 not 3. Thanks for the correction Dave.

He did it in 125's too. He crashed on the out lap after the race had been stopped. His team did the amazing job of fixing the bike and getting him out agai started from the back and won in a 9 lap race...
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2R-Aq_4ejH0 still think he'd have been in MotoGP a year earlier if he hadn't had the crash at Sepang when the marshal didn't put flags out for the one wet section. But it was probably for the best as he was wildly erratic and was still too young for the big bikes.
