Ok so a little while ago I blew up my K3's engine since then I've installed a new one I've got stuck on one thing. The coolant bottle/ expansion bottle and where the tubing from it goes I've got the bottom pipe connected to the radiator the only one in stuck on is the one from the top of the bottle. The long one with the "T" connection in it.
Please help as this is the only thing stopping her from going back in the road. Cheers Andy |

Did you lose this when doing the engine swop or has it somehow been damaged? If it's just a length of rubber tubing you need go on Ebay and just buy a length of the right size for peanuts. You can get the T pieces there to.

Not damaged at all I had to unplug it all to get the engine in and clean the internals of the frame. I did have pictures of everything but my phone got updated and wiped itself. My fault really.

if its the one off the top of the coolant rez bottle it connects to the fuel tank water drain hose.
there are two hoses that come out the side of the bike on the exhaust side forward of the foot peg. follow these up into the frame and you will find that one goes straight to the fuel over flow of the petrol tank at the bottom and the other will go to a T piece the centre part of the T goes to the fuel tank water drain hose off the bottom of the tank and the straight threw part of the T continues up and connects the the coolant rez top hose. ![]() |
