Default help with new exhaust

Don't shout at me please I've done a fair bit of research on here and have narrowed my choice to a fuel stainless classic or a delkevic stainless which looks almost the same.

What I can't decide isn't so much which brand but whether to get the stubby 350mm or the larger. I prefer the shorter but have heard they are unbearably loud. I want to unleash the rumble.

Am I gaining much with the more expensive Fuel? Any opinions?

The longer cans give a deeper, more pleasant exhaust note IMO, and you can run without a baffle with negligible chance of getting pulled. Without the baffle the stubbies are very loud, but they sound harsh to me.

That's what I've read but the longer ones aren't much smaller than the cannon I've got on as standard are they?

Probably £125 for delkevic as opposed to £170 for fuel will be a deciding factor too

Fuel are nicely made and loud enough, without being too loud.

I had a scorpion can before, it was a longer can, but didnt have a baffle and it was far too loud for my ears.

I put a db killer baffle in it, which helped, but the fuel is much better.

Following mightyboosh's sv with a stubby unbaffled can hurt my head, and you could hear it 2 counties away. It didn'tstay on his sv long.

So is a fuel mini really that much louder than a maxi? They're only 100mm shorter aren't they

I doubt it, as the fuel has a baffle in as standard.

Don't forget that you get a discount from Fuel on here

Go for the Fuel midi. Not too loud and still looks and sounds x1000 better than standard with or without the baffle in.
Discount for orgers and is really well made. Mine's three years old and is ridden in all weathers, still looks good.
Personal opinion of course. Cutting the old OE is hard work, but the Fuel comes with all you need to replace including link pipe and hanger. Do it!

I have a Fuel Maxi on my K7 and it sounds great without being over the top.

On Fuels website they only list the classic oval in two lengths mini and midi but I've also seen photos of mini micro? and also hear people mention maxi.
Is it just confusion on names or are they by special request?
