Default Bungs and Bar Ends - Help me out

Morning all!

After some of your collective wisdom regarding bungs and bar ends.

By bungs I mean crash protectors, and by bar ends I mean, bar ends.

I know R&G and Motosliders seem to be the household name for bungs but they're also a bit pricey.

Now the bike I want to protect is an 05 SV650s that doesn't have a belly pan or lower fairing.

Does anyone have any recommendations on some eBay specials or something?

And in terms of bar ends... is there anything I should look out for in particular.

I'd like some blue ones to match the bike, but apart from that I don't really know what I'm looking for.

Cheers!

You obviously don't value your bike much. There's a reason why they are expensive, it's because they work

Buy cheap, buy twice and they may not do the job you want them to do

Yorkie Chris had some motosliders for sale

It's not so much that I don't value the bike, it's more the question of... are they more expensive because they're actually better or just for a brand name. Given that its the former, then thats A okay with me.

Thanks for pointing these out,

They work. The eBay ones don't. If anything, they cause more damage

I've got a set of these bar ends on my Sk5 http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/...d_Weights.html

Couldn't use the original mount types as a previous owner had made a right mess of the hardware inside the bar but these ones are great really good quality and a decent weight which really helps kill the buzz through the bars.

Do you know what the dimensions are for the handlebar and collet size?

Cheers

I got the 12-19mm 7/8" set and if I remember rightly you get 3 collet sizes and it takes the middle one.

There are a few brands I wouldn't do without and never bother looking for alternatives.
R&G
Castrol
Muc off
