Hi this is question for the mini-twin racers here. There is a rule which is going to be enforced regarding engine cases. I just was wondering where you guys get these covers or how you get around this for the SV's. Any i have found on sites are (a) are only for GSXR600 or (b) cost both kidneys to buy.
FIM Rules 2.5.6.30 Crankcase and all other Engine Cases (i.e. ignition case, clutch case ). All engine cases containing oil and which could be in contact with the ground during a crash must be protected by a second cover made of composite material, type carbon or KevlarŪ. cheers |
