Default Tax disc holder

Hello, just wanted to ask a quick question? Where is the best place to fit a tax disc holder on an SK4? I've seen many posts regarding this issue but where would probably be the least obtrusive and yob detering place to put it?

.

Left hand side so that plod can see it when you go past him in town, so that he doesn't radio his mates 100 yards down the road to pull you over I know several people who have had this happen to them.

Mine is attached to the hugger, other people have theirs attached to the fork leg

Take a picture of it with a digital camera first - that way if it gets nicked it's fairly painless to replace

Mines on the LHS using the first chain guard bolt. When the bike is on its stand it is still visble if you look, but not that obvious to draw unwanted attention. Although, I think the law says it has to be at the front of the bike?

Swanscombe's not that bad is it? You could always keep it in your wallet!

take ya rear pillion peg off with the two main screws.
then pop it back on but slip the tax disc holder in between facing outwards of course ha ha!!

I had my complete one nicked ! so got a new holder and tax disc (7 bloody quid for replacement disc) ..photocopied the disc and laminated it. with orig with rider written on it..and I keep the orig in my wallet!!
yea not strictly legal but I am buggered if i gonna pay fkin 7 quid again cos some oyk nicked it !..

anyway it sits high n nice there and looks good and unless they walk around with a ratchet they canny get it off ..and even then it wil set the rocker off on me alarm
