![]() ![]() Its overhaul time soon. Can people name the extras that have been fitted to this gem. Also check out the carbon fibre with charv mesh things near seat. How are they designed? Only problem is my bike is red. I'm thinking of spraying the rear and front mud guard black and buying a black engine tray and bagster, so only front fairing would be red. Thoughts?? |

I think that would look a bit rubbish, pers'nally
![]() A dark metallic grey/gunmetal looks great on an SV, and would suit this bike down to the ground. Lesse, those cans have to be Renes... Heelplates are off a GSXR, and the rearsets... Rosmoto? Bellypan is one of the Banditmania ones I think. I suspect the underseat wedges are modified versions of the original, rather than carbon fibre items (I reckon what you've taken for carbon look is a scan artifact because of the testured plastic, unless you have a higher res image to check.) Undertray is Suzuki's own, hump is either Suzukis or the one with the funny lump on the front, but I think it's Suzukis. Wavy discs are wavy discs, cool looking but pretty pointless (when my discs want replacing I might fit them, mind). R&Gs, obviously. Those are damn ugly indicators, I think they're Hein Gericke, but I reckon the stock ones were nicer. Baglux cover, you know about. Think that's about it... Oh no, wait, that's not the stock front mudguard, is it a 2WJ do you think? It's very pretty, but you'd get 90% of the effect from the high level Renes (which kick ass, but IIRC are endcans not a full system, so quite limited) Other than that it's a few hundred quid of plastic, and some pointless trick discs. We can do better than that ![]() Oh aye, the right hand peg's had the exhaust hanger ground off- good man!

Yeah, really like that mesh effect also for the holes in the front fairing.
Any ideas on the best way of going about this for early SVs? Any tips would be appreciated. |

I stand corrected, usually i hate the carbon look (after all, those ones are going to be heavier than stock and not do a better job, which sot of defeats the purpose) but they do look cool...
If you want to put mesh in your own, then cut out the original bars with a sharp knife, get some mesh, and araldite it on... (fold it over the sides of the hole and glue it around the back, out of sight) Pretty easy, not done it myself but I might do.

See I think those indicators are much better. It also needs a tinted screen. The list so far is...
A powerbronze undertray in carbon look A carbon-look race exhaust An engine tray Bagster BMC race, 140 mains or equiv setup Braided front lines |
