I have a couple of questions concerning what all rain gear/ winter gear you all use. As it's getting that time of the year I still want to continue riding though it's getting colder and wetter. I ride about 60 miles to work one way and usualy am going about 70mph average so I need something that will keep me dry and warm for about an hours worth of riding, any suggestions helpfull.

Don't ask me. I get the same gear that everyone else uses, they stay dry and I get wet

Spada 406 one piece is an excellent suit, £50ish, expensive but effective,
I've never got wet and it's never leaked (must be something wrong with it). |

If you want synthetics the Hein Gericke stuff is probably the best value but it may not be available over with you. BMW (yes BMW!) do some excellent winter and wet weather gear, I understand.
Havent read it but could be some info here: http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=13744 |

Aerostich do great stuff, so I'm told, but it ain't as waterproof as other gear. If you reckon on doing lots and lots of wet riding for periods over 30-45 mins, then you might want to look at Hein Gerike (good quality and inexpensive). That said, I'm not convinced that any water proof gear keeps you dry for long periods of higher speed riding (esp. the crotch and bum - or is that just me?!).
