Default Alarm removal

Hi folks

My written off bike is getting picked up on monday by some company, but when i spoke to them they didnt serem to have any idea what state my bike was in. They seemed suprised when i asked what i should do with the key.

Because of this i thought it might be worth taking my datatool system 3 out of the bike as it doesnt seem like they care what state the bike is in. Also i was thinking of taking off the indicators and mirrors as they seem to be the things that get hit when the bike is droped.

Has anyone else done this before? could i get into much trouble? and most importantly, how to i remove the alarm/imobolisior.

Cheers for the help in advance.

Who fitted it for you? Couldn't you bung them a couple of quid to come to your house & take it off for you?

Take all the ancilliaries off that you fitted & flog them on here/eBay for a profit

Hi, i have seen alarm fitting instructions on ebay that you can buy for £2.99. Im sure this would give you all the info you need to remove your alarm.

You could then sell it me for a good price

i bought that details off ebay from that link and i havee to say im none the wiser as to how i should proceed. its just a list of parts etc rather than any instructions on how to fit/remove an alarm.

If anyone wants a copy then pm me and a copy will follow via e-mail.
