Default Newbie and a foreigner: Mod pics...

I just came across your board, I'm an American but since we all speak English I thought I'd hang out

This is my second SV, my first was a 2000 I bought to race. I also rode it on the street and it was stolen a couple weeks ago. I wanted another so I got this 2002 out of the same junk yard I got the 2000... The tail section was toast so I decided to put on the tail/seat off an old Kawasaki H1 I had laying around with a custom made subframe.

What do you think???

Before...

Work in progress...

Greetings Donnie. Not only do you have a garage to work in and a bike (and a Bimmer, scooter, and whatever that other thing is) to mess around with but you have access to almost limitless supplies of Rolling Rock, Philly cheese steak and/or Wendy's spicy chicken combos! Oh the pain. Oh the jealousy.

Welcome aboard!

I think it looks crazy. But then, I suspect that's the point. Looking forward to seeing the finished article, I couldn't believe how badly it went down on SVRider... Scared of something different maybe...

Thanks everyone! I was kind of hoping for some opinions on the SV project, good AND bad...

Spookinghound:
The scooter is a 74 Vespa 90 I restored this summer and the other bike is a 74 Suzuki TC125 (which I'm restoring). The bimmer is a 84 533 with 535 engine which I restored last year... I also have a 1940 Dodge in storage for the winter. I'm not much on the cheese steaks because I'm not into the fat American look but definitely Rolling Rock and Wendy spicy chicken.

Here's me, my girlfriend and the Dodge...

that is one fine car you have there mate.

greeting from across the pond.
im liking the bike - i like the tail lights especially.

personally i think you should get a new headlight myself - knock something up yourself - and it will look 100 percent t-balls

Thanks!

The headlight is off a 76 CB350 with longer & higher aluminum diamond plate brackets. I like it a lot but I think I have to go with something more modern & mean looking to offset the front & rear...
