I got a big boost, but then on my bike the Rene air filter bumps the tank, so the spacers solved that problem.

you might get a slight improvement in airflow, but I couldn't notice it.

However you do get a better induction noise, sounds great.

Cheers Mark.

Ian, from what i can see... you get a couple of spacers to put where you would normally put the alen screws... thus, lifting (raising) the tank.

Sounds like it may be worth a try... even just for the noise.

I can't hear mine for the noisy race can and the supersonic roof jet helmet so it would have to be for any possible gain in power.

I've just bought some tank raisers from Chewy - purely to get a bit of induction noise as pointed out by Rictus (I'm just a big kid at heart )

see http://www.chewys-stuff.co.uk/

well made & prompt service.

Only got them this morning so can't say whether they work or not, until I put them on at the weekend.

I've got the titanium Rene can on full bore M4 pipe work, so not exactly whisper quiet, and you canhear the induction roar with no problem.

It doesn't do any harm, and is easy to reverse.

Cheers Mark.
