Default Another SV stolen

My bike was missing this morning. It was there last night at 12:15 when we got back from a Nick Cave gig, but not there this morning when I left for work.

It's a silver K3 - LK04EOT. I think that this was probably a professional job. It's parked in the car park for the block of flats, which isn't very visible from the road. It's at the end of a cul-de-sac anyway, so traffic doesn't come past here either. I think that it's unlikely to be recovered. Any idea how long it takes for insurance to pay out? It looks as if I'll have to get the harley back on the road for winter - the worst time to ride one.

Off to the police station now to report it.

Default Sorry to hear about the theft!

Sorry to hear about the bike getting nicked mate.

This seems to be happening more lately - might be worth mentioning if there were any mods on the bike which might've made it a target. At least that way we could all keep an eye out for very cheap bits from chavey looking people.

I say this as a mate kept getting bits taken from his bike then the whole thing went...had to look out for cheap ohlins damper from someone who doesn't ride etc.!

Cheers, Steve.

I got the cash for my Thundercat at 6 weeks to the day!

They say its to allow time for the bike to be recovered.
