Default Carbon Can COmpany

Hello All,

Got a new SV650s a few months ago and a trip to the bike show convinced me to start modding it. Bought a high level oval Carbon Can Co. exhaust but now a bit worried it won't accomobdate the original indicators. Is this the case? and will it be ok with the Hamicad fender elliminator?

Cheers.

It wont fit with standard indicators im afraid. However, this does give you a fantastic excuse to get some nice little 'cators. And you should, because if you care enough about tidying things up to get a hamicad, then it'll finish the job off nicely

Default Indicators

Thanks for the knowledge. Any suggestions for which indicators to get? seen some aRROW HEAD STYLE ONE'S AT THE BIKE SHOW THAT LOOK QUITE FLASH, THINK THESE'LL FIT? Is it quite an easy job as well? I'm not the most handy person.....

Cheers....

I've got micro arrows, I think they look nice. Mounting them is very easy, connecting them is a little tricky. I ended up cutting the wires off my original indicators so I could use the plug, as the mirco arrows dont come with one.

Very cool, just checked them out on a web site. They are the one's I saw at the bike show. I've done a little bachground, so got a few Q's. Will I need to mess about with a resistor to ensure the flash rate remains steady? Are these one's going to fit OK with the exhaust? and finally, will I need an extra bit of kit becaus ethe holes in the (as yet) original fender unit are too big to take the minis?

Sorry so many questions, want to make surer I get this right first time .

Cheers

You dont need a resistor for the micro arrows. They are much smaller than the originals so wont interfere with your exhaust (at least, the ones with the short steam don't).

Now, there is a legaly required minimum distance between the indicators and I dont know if the short steam micro arrows breach this. I hope not, or my bike will fail come MOT time. Whoops. Just something to bare in mind.

I can't tell you if they'll fit the original fender, but they certainly fit the hamicad.
