Default Freerunning / Parkour , your views please

Just read about this in another thread and i'm being a nice boy and not hijacking someone else's thread.

So.. who likes it?

who thinks its just "stupid kids jumpin about the place" ?

who thinks we may see this explode like the skating thing did for a while and then leave behind some serious followers.

I love it and can only dream of having the gymnastic ability of that very chunky french guy who they all seemed to worship on the CH4 program last night. Monseuir whatsisname IIRC.

Well its the clostest thing i'd get to being a real Spiderman isnt it?
Check this out http://perso.wanadoo.fr/parkour/fun/fun.html all thats missing is the web from his hands and the costume... other than that i think they are all wannabe Spidermen.
I know i am

If it's the programme I'm thinking of, it's a repeat from last year. The French dudes in it really didn't do London justice. Their home movie stuff was far more impressive.

It really is amazing what they can do... and was most impressively done in a TV commercial a couple of years ago, for a BBC trailer.

The programme that was on before was Jump London which was mainly about Sebastien the french bloke that created Parkour.

Jump Britain was a kinda follow on prog that showed how its started to take off in the uk. There are actually now training clubs where peps can practise the skill indoors with bars and mats.
