Conversion to GSXR1000 front forks ? - SV650.org

Anybody done a conversion to GSXR1000 forks ? to get a upside/down fork ?

What about brake calibers ? can i use the SV650 ?
How much do i keep ? how much to change ?
Is it same size and lenght ?

Since this isn't a mod I'm planning I haven't gone into any details but Northwind has researched it and has done a rundown in another thread http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.ph...r=asc&start=45 starting on that page.

I'll add that you need to pay attention to which top tripple you get as the '97-'00 has the ignition switch in the middle, whereas the '01-'05 has the ignition switch offset to the right, so it probably has to match according to your SV being a '99-'02 or a '03-'05

Try asking on the svrider.com forum as well. There seem to be a lot of Americans that has done this.

Also, I noticed you're from Denmark. Are you a member of the Danish forum as well ? (forum.svrider.dk)
