Default Exhausts

Does anybody know of a way to secure a end can to your bike without having some dirty ******* steel it? I know about the locking nuts on the brackets but if they wanted they could undo the peg mount to remove it from your bike... Info seriously need and appreciated..

You've answered it yourself mate. Just make it as damn awkward as possible. The trouble is, if someone wants something bad enough they will have it no matter what.

Buy one of the security bolts that you mention, and then change the bolts that hold the footrest hanger for a couple of Torx security bolts, (they have a pin in the middle, so most bits won't fit in), it's not entirely thief-proof, but it makes things a whole lot harder to nick, cheap too.

Tie a rabid wolf to it...

Out of curiousity, what's teh chances of someone ctually nicking your end can? Seems like for the exposure and effort to do it, it'd be easier to nick a whole unsecured bike from elsewhere...

I've heard of a few bikes stolen then recovered a day or two later just missing stuff like their fairings.
