Urgent advice needed fitting undertray to K1 SV650S - SV650.org

Hi all, might be missing something obvious here but bike in bits in garage when I need it for tonight!

I've bought an undertray for the bike but it's arrived with no fitting instructions or mounting brackets at all - I've literally just got the plastic undertray itself.

The original undertray (with huge mudguard) has already been removed so I think I need to cut it somewhere, somehow attach the new undertray then re-fit - but I've no idea how to do this.

I'm going to try searching this forum but in the meantime, can anyone give me some advice please?

Crapsticks. Um, I doubt I can really help you... but it may make a difference to others if they know what make the undertray is.

Mine was a Suzuki one which is a direct replacement with no cutting required.

I'm honestly not sure of the make - though the sticker on it says LEM distribution so it might have something to do with Buster Accessories as they come up in a Google search. Can't go back to the seller at this point though.

I've been reading through a search on this forum, and have a horrible sick feeling it's the cheapo / crap ebay one...

Then if you need the bike this evening I'm afraid my rather weak and non-productive advice would be put it back together with the original bits until someone can actually take a look at it.

But then I'm a wuss who won't do anything to my bike unless I'm absolutely, positively, definately really really really sure I can do it.

I'm with K on the put it back together for now bit.
I think you'll probably find the FAQ section useful, though,I'm positive there is a general guide on how to fit cutting type undertrays.

When you get a chance red my undertray page, It is for a Banditmania Roca undertray, but it might help you out.
