Default Full akro system

How do i get access into the rear exhaust manifold to unscrew the bolts and replace the standard pipes for my new Akro system? i can get the front one off very easy but the frame is blocking the rear pipe. Any suggestions please.

Have you tried using one of those very long Allenkeys with a hexagonal ballhead at one end.

I know that others have had problems as well. Try PM'ing UTHAUG, he's got an Akro.

With most replacement systems you keep the stubby pipe that comes out of the manifold as stock, and your system bolts onto it from there... Much easier- just undo the allen bolt about 3 inches down the pipe. The Akra may be the same or it may not.

I found to get into the actual header bolts in the engine, I had to remove the shock...

That'll be the 'Not' option...

Ah well. That's quite good actually, I wasn't too impressed to see that even though the WRP has its massive headers, it still uses that tiny wee pipe at the manifold. O'course, the actual hole's about that size anyway, but it seems like an unneccesary bottleneck. Still, wasn't complaining when it came to fit the thing.
