Default Carbon Vented front mudguard

Has anyone got any experience with vented mudguards for the SV?

I'm looking to get a carbon one from Skidmarx to hopefully protect my forks a bit more... and to be a tart and match my carbon hugger.

The best one is by 2 wheel junkie:

It's not vented but covers the forks reasonably well. JHS are the UK distributors but seem to want a lot for it.

There may be some blokes quietly working away on a cheaper version.

They may have been supplied a sample SV mudguard and loads of sample pics by a forum member.

They may be weeks away from having the first prototype in plastic.....

I may be talking complete bollox....

Soon as I get mine and we've fitted it OK, I'll be letting you know where to get them.

Would you prefer vented or unvented?
