Default ZX7R?

Having been made to look for a replacement bike for my much loved SV by some thieving lowlife scum , I fancy something different!
Initially I was interested in upgrading to a SV1000S, but the thought of trying another IL4 is too much to ignore (had a CBR400 before SV).
I've always had a soft spot for a ZX7R (green naturally) but not really been able to insure one until hopefully now.

GET TO THE POINT!!

Has any one had one in the past and if so, what did you think?

All advice appreciated

Rich

Sorry, I haven't had one but I just LOVE the styling of the ZX7R and also the fact that it was still doing really well in the British Superbike Championship until it was replaced with the ZX10 this year!

It is ball-achingly beautiful (in an evil, snarling, green kinda way!) and I have seriously thought about one. However the insurance is likely to be a little too steep for me still and I probably wouldn't find one in my price range that would be immaculate enough for my picky taste!!!

BiKE magazine rated it the best race rep for the road a few years back.
Planted front end and rock hard rear shock, budget for a replacement or re-build I reckon.

Buy it NOW, you're going to love it, I love them so anyone with taste and breeding - which you clearly have - will too.

2 Wheels in Edinburgh have a beautiful looking one for £1999.99... "This bike has a mysterious running problem, we can't get to the bottom of it, maybe you can. Sold as seen" But if you want a cheap 7R, it's cheap and it's a 7R

Buy one,
Drive down to london and let me have a go, always worth getting a seccond opinion on whether a bike is running well.

SP30s to the usual address.....

Damn you I'dalmost forgotten how much I want one despite the fact 70% of my milage is in town, usually 2 up.....
