One VERY unhappy Ping.

I've come online to see if anyone's around but for some DUMBASS reason MSN won't let me use the old version of msn I've got on my machine. I 'must' download the NEW version to continue.

I've got the beta 7 version at work and I'm pretty damn happy with it.

Now, for the moment at home I'm on dial-up, and for god's sake, it takes ages for anything to happen as far as downloading the new version's concerned. As much as I want it, being forced to try to download the new version before I can get online has REALLY p*ssed me off.

I am VERY unhappy.

If MSN could be a smoking hole in the ground where MSN headquarters used to be right now.... Gits. It might be free but there's no need for this. If they want web dominance there's NO benefit from forcing regular users like me to download the product just to get online when i've already been thru the malarky at least twice on dial-up. When Iv'e got my 2mb broadband up and runing I'm going to get Trillian or something JUST because they've shafted me.

and you'll be even happier when you see the NEW version is a re-release of version 6.2.....

try trillian, (its a smaller download)
or get Download Accelerator Plus . . . lets you download bits at a time
