Nodding while pedestrianised
Something really odd happened today... I went out to the chemist, and I saw a guy coming along on a CBR... I recognised the bike- we've chased each other through the twisty bits out past ,my house a few times, but we've never actually met... I gave him "The Nod" as he passed, and he nodded back! have I attained some biker aura?

i do it and get regular nods, but im always wearing my bike jacket when outside

Yep. I do it in the car too, since its always works car as well, they are generally BMW or Mercs, if the biker notice i get what can only be described as a look of death back from the rider. Evil Stare fantastic!

I nod when I'm riding my push bike. What a prat! I wouldn't nod back at me either!

I do it all the bloody time - in the car, on the bus, at the ped crossing at Highbury Corner.....
It does work in the car though - I had a biker stop at a junction and treat me to a burnout followed by a wheelie the other day. |

Yep I do it all the time when I see bike even when i'm in civvies, usually just get dumb looks
