Anyone dealt with them?

I bought a legal Scorp can off them last week to fit onto my high level pipe but theyve sent me the longer can. Just spoken to them regarding a return for the shorter can (which i asked for) and it looks like ill have to pay return postage and possibly another postage on top. Fair?

If you specifically asked for a high level and they sent you a low level, then it is a bit out of order if you are out of pocket. If you just asked for a can and you got the wrong one then you should stump up carriage IMO.

I got my can off Diamond and I thought they were very good.

So long as it was their fault, no, not fair.

I Specifically stated that i wanted the can to fit the high level mentioned that Scorpion had said there was 2 sizes and they said they would just send me the can, as i already had the high level pipe. When the lower level can arrived with lower level kit i contacted them and they told me that in their book the can sizes are identical. Confirmed again with Scorp and they said there was a difference. Ive agreed to pay the extra to get the high level can (as the pipe is supplied also). It wasnt my fault that the book is incorrect as i clearly stated my requirements before the sale took place.

So long as it's their fault, you're legally entitled to demand they send someone (it can be a courier) at your conveniance (ie you can specify the time) and that they send the correct replacement. If they don't send someone to collect the old one within a certian period of time (forget the timeframe), it's yours and you can still demand the thing you originally ordered. In reality, the best/most realistic solution is to get a reciept for P&P, ship the wrong one back to them and then claim they re-imburse you that cost, along with pay for shipping the replacement out to you.

Of course, if you ordered the wrong one/didn't correct any "confirmation" emails, etc. then it's quite reasonable of them to charge you for shipping, in fact you're lucky they don't charge a "restocking fee" (can be as much as 25% in some places!)
