Hi Guys,
Very excited today - i finally decided to trade Bertha (Blue 2000 Curvy) in for a Gucci new K5 SVS (Black - naturally). I went down to George White in Slough who offered me £2600 for mine (Mott Motorcycles in Basingstoke only offered me £2250) so it's costing me £1900 to trade up! Yay. Going to get a cat one alarm and a bellypan (not a big fan of lowers but the pan can look ace) as soon as she arrives. Yay again. Dan |

Thats a bloody good trade in price mate. well done.
I bought my 2000 blue curvy privately from a guy for 2.5k about 8 months ago. Got a good mind to take it up to your guy in a month or two and get back more than i paid for it. Make sure you put a pic up when you have it ![]()

I'm dead happy - although mine has low mileage for the year (5100), it also has a rubbish service history (only one annual service since the 600...) and no tax.
This and the fact that the bike never felt quite right to me - and i suspect it's been down the road as the tank looks a slightly different colour to the plastics (maybe just a dodgy Suzuki paint job though...) All in all v.happy. (and black matches me leathers better!) |

It's always me, me me isnt it?
I've been dreaming about accessorising the new beast with a few OEM parts - namely a hugger, belly pan and seat cowl. Question is - are these easy to fit or it is worth having the dealer do it? And the big question is - what has everyone done to tidy up that horrific rear end? I guess people have employed tail tidies - but i have to admit to not knowing what these are, who makes them or where i can get one from... Any pics would be dapper. Dan |
