Did mine for the first time ever a few weeks ago.
Only real problem is getting the cap off the front carb to attach the vac guage pipe, and getting it back on again. A pair of thin, long nose pliers would have come in very handy. Still managed it though with the help of Mr Haynes. Good luck ![]() |

As Clunk said. It is not difficult, just fiddly. I have left a length of hose coming from the front carb which I have left in place permanently, so next time I have to balance the buggers it won't be so much of a pain.

As Scoobs says. I fitted a short length of hose to the front, just enough to bring the end out near the radiator bottom hose so it's easy to connect up to in future. I fitted a short piece of steel/bundy tube into the hose, and then used the original cap to close it off.
