Default Too Light

I have just had fitted a set of BT 020's on my 2003 650S. A mate of mine has a Kawasaki ZR7 and he phond the same tyre company who told him that 020's are only good for heavy bikes.

Anyone ever heard this before or has anyone who has had 020's had any problems with them...?

nope, rubbish.... 020's were the preferred tyre choice for the majority before z6's and roadattacks came along....

you'll be fine with 020's but there are better tyres around now

BT020s are fine for light bikes, though apparently with the different carcass they don't heat up quite as quickly as they used to.
If you look at something like the Azaro ST, apparently that struggles a little in the wet on light bikes.

I have heard of this before yes. The same with the MEZ4's apparently. How true, who knows.
