...fitting a exhaust can from a gixxer or a bandit to my SV?

The bandit shared many of the curvy SV components, you would have to check up if the exhaust looks similar. The gixxer uses a more professional mount for the can and isn't compatible without modding.

probably not, depends what sort of can you got. Most gixers have bolt on cans, the SV seems to have a slip-on arrangement. i.e. there's a small bit of pipe (20-30cm) sticking out of the can where it 'slips-on' to the rest of the exhaust system. Gixers just bolt straight onto where the original can came off.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong however. |

Are we talking stock cans here or after market ones
![]() An old shape bandit after market can could fit but you may have to have a modified link pipe |
