I need to either repair or buy a brake pedal as my local dealer wants £41 for one.
So a couple of questions Can they be welded, i.e. argon arc? Would another models pedal fit such as a Bandit, they look very similar but I'm not sure if the hole it pivots on is the same size? Can anybody help. Thanks |

The pivot seems pretty standard across suzukis (I know the gsxr ones are the same in that regard) but the way the springs and the master cylinder are connected is what can cause problems.

Thanks for the Patter Parts site.
In the end I got it welded. I had made the assumption that it was monkey metal that would just just glob up when welding. The guy who welded it said it had to meet certain levels of strength so was good quality alloy and welded well. Now I must try the broken brake lever. |
