ground will most likely be a black wire with a white stripe. On my bike, an 03 s I have black with white stripe and white and yellow. You could hook up the grounds and then hook up the other two. The light will still work fine it's just you may have the wires crossed and you won't be able to change from hi's to low's. in which case simply switch the wires again.....

High beam = Yellow
Low beam = White I'm guessing you'll be able to track down the earth by a process of elimination Watson. ![]() (In the startlingly unlikely event that you can't, it's the Black and White wire).

My aftermarket dual headlights came with highbeam indicator little blue light on top of the lamp housing with blue wire coming out. It would look really cool and beautiful to have those lights come on when using the highbeam but I am not sure where to attach the blue wire.Logically one can assume that splicing highbeam(yellow) wire with indicator wire(blue) and I should be fine but I worry that too strong current going to small light may blow it useless. What do you think? |

i guess the first thing I would do is try to figure out how to hook it the little blue light in the gauge cluster. if not, it's probably a 12v light and if the headlights are 12v (which I have no idea if they are) then you wouldn't have any problems doing what you suggested and hooking it into the yellow wire.....
