Default Biking - What's the attraction? -

I'm curious....
personally, the original reason for me was speed, but i'm getting older now and i find myself taking longer to get to my locations. Not because my roadcraft is getting worse, far from it, i feel more fluent now than i have ever, maybe my sense of what is enjoyable has changed.....maybe its an age thing....anyway try and be as honest as possible and lets see if your answer is a reflection of your age.

there's no 'all of the above' option. If there was, i would have ticked it.

Yep, all of the above, although i chose speed becuase its the closest factor to what i like.

I love the fact you get to speeds faster than everything else, 0-60 in 4 secs, youve saved yourself 8 seconds than if you were driving say a corsa or other car that i might be able to afford at my age

sometimes i prefer 12 (or 16 for my car ) warm dry seconds to 4 cold wet ones... but not often.

Its more the people that you meet than anything else to do with the bike iteslf. I have over the few years i have been riding met some fantastic people that i know i will be long term friends with. Stepping away from the bike for a while, i realised that i dont actaully miss it. But if i had to step away from the people, then, that i would miss!
