I rinsed some of the grime off my bike and decided to snap a few pictures - I don't get a chance to clean the bike that often.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have the stock headlight on for two reasons. First, a dump truck kicked up a rock that hit the right lens and cracked of my Bates dual light setup. I was afraid that water may seep in and cause a short. I'd hate to have to ride home at night with no headlights. Second, after replacing the stock light, I came to realize that I liked the single round headlight look more. Better yet, the stock headlight has a much better beam pattern than the dual setup, so it's easier to see at night. I'm going to put a few spacers between the guage pod mounting bracket and the triple clamp so I can get the guages to hug the headlight a bit more. The headlight dropped 1/2" when I cut and welded the headlight brackets. I'm still debating whether I want to fit a Poly26 chin spoiler. If I do, I will be repainting the bike - I'd like to go with a deep forest green or British Racing green. |
