Default Which bike

As my little SV is to be written off I was thinking about what I'm going to do. I'm still waiting on the details of the Cat for the write off, but my options are as follows:
1: Cat C or D, buy the bike back and fix all the damage myself, spending any spare cash on bar risers, heated grips and maybe a new paint job.
2: Buy another bike, maybe a sv1000, tl1000, raptor, or a Speed Triple.
3: Get as much fixed on the cheap and sell it.
4: Get as much fixed on the cheap and see if there is enough spare to get a sv650n?

I'm also going to get ride of that GT, just need to get the gear box problem sorted, so hopefully that should give me somemore cash.

I know I'm biased but get a raptor It's honestly the most fun I've ever had on a bike.

What I'd be tempted to do is if the SV can be fixed is get it fixed up as cheaply as possible, keep it as a 2nd bike and get the raptor as well

sounds like a good donor bike for a communal SV.org track bike :P

and then you could buy an SV1000 or a TLR

sell it and buy my cat D sv?

Damned, so close...

If you fix it and its cat c/d i doubt you will get very much resale value for it, it may be better fianically to part it out

I agree with Cloggsy, a naked thou is simply wonderful (try one). Although you wouldn't go far wrong with a Speed Triple, consider your licence with that baby!
