Default I did a really really stupid thing this morning

Before I went to work this morning, I decided to tighten my chain. Had the job done in a couple of minutes.

Whilst at work I went outside for a smoke I decided to check out Bucket. Yes I still do this even now.

It was whilst giving it a once over, it suddenly dawned on me...........

I forgot to tighten the rear wheel spindle back up. I had just rode 22 miles at a rather hot pace to work with a loose wheel.

Now the chain and sprockets that were most certaintly not in the best of nick are now goosed. God only knows if I have done any other damage.

Well that certainly answers some of my question in the Soho thread but I still can't work out why they were in such bad condition anyway.

Pillock! Just the sort of thing I'd do.

don't worry mate i realised that I'd done nearly 200 mile with the sump bolt loose... now that would have been interesting if it had worked out no oil and an engine doing 7,000 rpm...

Just be thankful you saved yourself a load of cash. Afterall you could have popped into a garage and got them to do exactly the same.

(Still bitter about my experience)
