Default calling all fans of polished rear sets, forks, brackets ect

whats the best way to polish your rear sets.

im sitting here at the mo brushing mine over with wet and dry - and its taking ages,
wire wool didnt do much,

when in finally done - is it safe/look good to give them a coat of varnish or something to keep them looking polished and keep the road nasties out ?

cheers guys again.

I used a Dremmel with a polishing attachment, some dremmel polishisg compound and some Autosol - they now look the biz and just need a weekly going over with some autosol

Yeah its a power tool, go to B&Q I'm sure they sell their own make for about £20-30 it will come in handy for allsorts. Mine is actually a Black and Decker Wood Wizard, they are all the same thing and all should take the Dremmel bits.
