I reckon the best meeting place for bikers near Dublin is Laragh - its a village about 30 miles from Dublin in the Wicklow mountains. There's a good few bikers there every Sunday morning (if its dry!) The road over the mountains is one of the best on the East coast.

There is a bar in the centre of Dublin where a few bikers meet up - its near Grafton Street (the main shopping street) but I'm not sure of the name of the place - maybe one of the others on here do? Always seemed to me to be a bit of a pose parade though - for those who like looking at their bke more than riding it!

Try the Irish bikers forum on Yahoo - here's the link:

I've been to Bruxelles on a night, I guess it's a different crowd than what's downstairs on a Saturday night

Got talking to a couple of old dears on the ferry on the way back and they sad there were loads of bikes in the Wicklow mountains on the Sunday.

My riding was pretty limited. Had a blast up to Navan then across to Trim castle and then went in search of the Hill of Tara. I really did think it must be a mythical place as the road signs were abysmal. Finally found it though

I might take you up on the offer of a ride out. I'll give you a bit of notice before I next come over.
