Default Which is your favourite gear . . .

Mine's fourth, most of the time, with occassionally keeping it in third, as that keeps the revs in the usable and flatter part of the range 6 --> 10 K

For me it's first. Just love pulling away fast from the lights and quickly popping it up on the rear wheel .

I still haven't been able to find 7th! Glad to hear I'm not the only one!

P.S. what is a "motorway?"

P.P.S. I'm JUST KIDDING! I know you meant to say freeway or highway. :P

Technique, honestly. Pull away in first and then keep it at 20mph for a sec then snap open the throttle. No I don't mean open it quickly I mean snap it open hard. The front wheel should then rear up and you've done your first SV wheelie. Do remember to close the throttle pretty quick though as it's easy to flip.

On both the SV1000 and the ZX6 exiting 3rd & 4th gear corners is a exciting affair.
