You can get pretty good armoured jeans these days... just bought some from hood jeans http://www.hoodjeans.co.uk/ and with the knox armour in them + aramid lining I'd say they're going to serve me better in a crash than either my leathers or my cordura bike trousers. Well worth a look, and more comfy whilst on the bike - heavier, hotter and thicker than standard jeans though!

That only happened because of defective plastic. My knee cap is semi-flexible..................
