Race VS Street Fairings - SV650.org

Hi,
I've been thinking about putting lower fairings on my SV650S. I did some searching and I found sites that separated race fairings and street fairings (i.e: 2wheeljunkie.com, 1tail.com). What are the differences between the two (if any)? Are there any physical differences? Also, is it recommended to get race fairings even though I only street ride? Thanks!

And, if you guys know any good sites for fairings please tell me.

For one, race fairings won't have provision for lights- sometimes you can cut holes for the lights but it's extra work. Also, some of the race fairings won't fit around standard clocks. Some require subframe modification on the rear as well.

The 2WJ fairing is probably the nicest IMO... Poly 26 do some good ones too:

Is there any way to put fairings built for another model on the SV? For example would the gixxer fairings fit with SV's? I read somewhere that one person put aprilia fairings on his SV but I never saw any pictures of it.
