Default kmh to mph clock swap

the title says it!

can i plug in mph clocks into an import sv650s (2000 model) an expect them to work ok?

Works fine, the sender is the same, (same pulses/intervals) the chip in the clocks converts it to kph/mph thats all. I did a straight swap with mine and had no issues.

I'm sure somewhere on the web is a place that can convert your clocks to mph. Will see if I can find it.

I used to have a little black box on mine which messed with the pulses so that the clock was still kph but showed mph speeds. Only problem I had with it was that the kph only had every 20kph on. IIRC, hence why I changed, I think I still have some paperwork around, deffo cheaper than a new set of clocks.

i wanted the new clocks so they read upto 150mph and not look like it goes to 240mph!! it already has a convertor on it - but only half the speedo is ever used with this method!

also, i want miles odometer - if i just put a new face on it and remove the convertor, the odo would still be in km.
