Acumen DG8 wiring problems? - SV650.org

I fitted the above to my bro's TL1000R today but can't get it working. We worked for hours trying to get the unit to program. We cannot get it to learn gears, once we told it how many gears the bike had we couldnt get it any further.

Any ideas greatly appreciated, I am at my witts end, gonna phone acumen on monday morning but would like it fixed before then.

I had a similar problem with my SV with a Datatool Digigear. It was suggested that i earth the learning wire after every gear by Datatool.
