Pyramid Hugger 99 s curvy - SV650.org

Fitted my pryamid hugger on Sunday, easy enough to do without a paddock stand or removing the rear wheel BUT i now do not have a lot of clearance between the hugger and the tyre where the hugger narrows down to fit between the legs of the swinging arm. I am talking less than 1mm either side, is this normal???

Also even though the cable ties are as tight as i can possibly get then the Hugger is still quite able to be moved by hand..

I am not impressed, not for the fact that i have paid £45 for what amounts to a moulded piece of plastic and 2 cable ties.

It will be coming off tonight.

Is there a hugger that bolts on??

I have an Ermax hugger on mine. It uses 4 bolted mounting points, no cable ties. The fit on mine is fine.

Philb,

I've the same hugger as you and mine fits fine

with plenty of clearance, how far forward is your wheel, even with a brand new chain i reckon to have only 5 lines showing on the spindle markers.

I agree £45 is a bit steep for what it is but they do look a lot better than other huggers in that price range, IMO.
