Biker killed ...then gang dumps body
A gang dumped the body of a motorcyclist at the side of the road after the car they were in struck his bike.
People watched in horror as the callous occupants of the Ford Escort removed the body of the man from underneath the car before driving off from Glenview Close, Ribbleton, at around 9.20pm last night.
The estate car was found abandoned nearby. The motorcyclist, believed to be a local man in his late teens or early 20s, was later pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. It is believed the unnamed man had been killed instantly in the collision.

A Preston ambulance spokesman said: "I was the first at the scene and we could tell the driver had massive multiple-trauma injuries – consistent with being dragged down the road under the car."
He said it appeared the dead man was not wearing a helmet.
Insp Russ Morgan, from Lancashire Police, said the hit-and-run involved a head-on collision between the car and Honda 90cc motorbike.
He said: "The occupants of the car got out and dragged the dead man from under the vehicle and made off from the scene and abandoned the vehicle.
"Police would like witnesses to contact us."
PC Dave Taylor, from the Preston road policing unit, said: "We are keen to hear from witnesses who either saw the collision or either the Escort or the motorcycle before the accident."
Shocked local people spoke of the horror today.
Ann Rowland, who lives on Glenview Close, said: "I heard an almighty screech. It was so loud.
"When I looked out of the lounge window I saw someone lying in the middle of the road. It was a lad but I couldn't tell how old he was.
"You could tell straight away that he had been very badly hurt. It is terrible and you just don't expect to see it happen on your doorstep."
Other residents said children and teenagers regularly ride up and down Glenview Close on mini motorbikes and electric scooters.
The Close runs alongside Grange Park and riders often circuit the park and up and down Glenview Close.
Last night, because of the fine weather, dozens of riders were out until late in the evening. The incident is thought to have happened just before 9pm.
A woman, who lives in Glenview Court, a residential area occupied by pensioners and situated next to Glenview Close, said: "This was an accident waiting to happen.
"My husband and I have phoned the police before because kids from across the area use these roads like a race track. It is so dangerous and tragically now someone has been killed."
Four people – a man, woman and two 18-year-old youths – have been arrested.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Preston Police on 01772 203203.

I don't, it would achieve nothing and involve other innocent people, however I share your feeling of utter outrage.

Indeed. A product, sadly, of a sick and decaying society.

For me the only satisfying course of action would be to make them work in a slave labour scenario financially supporting the relatives of the deceased for the rest of their natural. Plus being prevented from passing on their genes to future generations.

Tis terrible i agree.

however, by the sound of it the "biker" was one of those pikey kids that blasts up and down the main road near me 3 up on a C90 with no helmet, tax or insurance...

If he WAS one of these pikeys, i have no sympathy for him.

Only for his friends and families.

OK I post this in anger after reading the report in tonights paper. I was going to edit my original post to remove my emotion but as jonboy has already commented I shall not bother.

Yes it sounds like the rider was probably playing you would not normally find any self respecting biker on a honda 90 probably a cub etc without a lid. But it does not matter, who is responsible is something the police will have to establish. But, to drag somebody out from beneath your vehicle in order to P155 off is contemptable. Hence my inital emotion/anger

sounds like the rider may have been a bit of a fool but i dont think thats the point. Its the fact that these people killed someone and dragged the dead person from under their car and carried on.

unfortunatly the world isnt a nice place and its not full of nice people. i dont think its anything new however.

Lets just make sure we stick together.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs, these heartless scum would probably do the same thing with the body of a respectable family man or woman who had the misfortune to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Throw away the key!

And for another nomination for scumbag of the week...

Definately with you on that last part. There is no fear of the concequences in todays society and if toerags knew this was the fate waiting for them they would think twice about doing some of these unbelievably disgusting things.

TBH i dont think it would have stopped the initial crash but it might have made the car's occupants think twice about their actions and decide to call the ambulance and the cops themselves.

Anyone can make a mistake or have an accident, in or out of a car/van/bike etc. Its the behaviour afterwards that diferentiates beween humans and animals.
Those in the car are clearly animals.

Reading this makes me sad that human beings would treat each other this way. Let alone a fellow biker, RIP

Disgusting, they deserve to be put away for a very long time IMHO.
