Default Squeeky rear brake!!!

My K3 suffers with a squeeky rear break at very low speeds!
Is there any fix for this, I would be very gratefull as it is driving me mad in traffic!!!

Cheers

The rear caliper just needs a clean out & some copper slip (high temperature grease) putting on the reverse side of the pads & a dab on the 'squeel plate' (small metal plate between the caliper & the swing-arm (by the bolts connecting the caliper to the swingarm,) if I remember right...)

mine squeeks when i go backwards at very very low speeds, ya know when reversing into a driveway, bloody annoying but its fine going forwards, im thinking missaligned pad, my rotors straight as so i know that fine.

try looking at your disc to check its not warped and then check your pad allignment

Im suffering the very same prob, but when i recently replaced my pads i noticed that i dont have the shim that goes over the pads before fitting, could this contribute? i have pt copper grease on and cleaned the caliper with proper break cleaner so dont know what else it could be.

maybe its somthing to do with putting unworn pads on very slightly worn calipers, my pads are new as well and are only about 100 miles old and i hardly ever use my rear brake (dont bother with the lecture) so maybe its somthing to do with the pads not being bedded in yet??

i dunno, its fine when i go forward so im happy

My SV does the samething and has done since new. It only seems to squeak when I first start out for the day. Our when apply light rear brake pedal pressure.
I've learned to live with it and use the front brake more around other bikers. That way I don't get a big reddy and get everyones attention.
