I didn't know of any biking road websites until you pointed out this one, but it looks very good.
Useful if visting an area you don't know.

thats quite a good idea, not seen them before.

i dont get the maps though, where is the route? all i see is a map of roads, but none marked out or high lighted.

I've registered and all I get is a picture of some nice roads, and an unavailable header image.

I find that a lot of those sorts of images don't download on my work PC

I'll try it at home over the weekend and report back.

I think the site is kind of in the early stages, so you may have problems if you're not using Internet Explorer as your browser.

I know what you mean also about the maps, but compared to what else is out there, it still seems to be pretty good, I like the way maps are put together, anyone tried actually entering any routes? I entered a few of my favourites and it was a little complex, but once I took the time it seemed to give a fairly good result.

Excellent, heading over your way late May / early June.
Are any of these suitable for a Harley? Hiring one for a run from San Francisco to LA down the coast (only time I'll ever use one)
