I am looking at buying a SV650 naked model for my first bike. I like the looks of the old style but want the new with fuel injection. My only problem with the new one is the nasty plastic attached to the front light. Is it possible to remove it and ride without it?

First you unscrew the main plasic bit off (4bolts) so then u r left with just the metal work.
now you open the headlight up and d/c the indactors from inside the headlight. then just 2 or 3 screws on each side and they should come off. you will need to buy some new nuts to replace the ones on the brackets. its easy to do, took me 2 mins |
