Default Shocking suspenders....

I have had a rummage about and cannot find anything and so I just wondered if the following might be an idea?
Would it not be of interest and help to many people,(myself included) if one of our more mechanically gifted folks could explain certain matters to do with suspension? maybe a "How to"?

I was thinking maybe an explanation of common terms such as sag, preload, rebound, ride height etc. Plus a word or two as to the likely affect of any adjustment made to the handling of the bike.Or an indication like if you do this......the likely result will be this....
You with me?

Apolagies if this has indeed been covered to death previously!

Gr8 Idea. There were talks a while back of having a "how to" section done, but I suppose it takes time to gather all the information. I definitely would find it very useful.

My KTM tells me what settings to put my bike on under my seat...

There's 'Sports' setting

Rider & Pillion setting

... and Standard setting

All of which are very good IMHO... Mine is set to 'Sports'

That's all well and good for getting the settings at least in the right ballpark, but suspension still needs setting up for a specific rider if you want the best out of it.

I'll have to wait til I go to a race meet or something, then get the WP boys on the job

Not a bad plan.
I'm still yet to get mine upgraded, so in the meantime I'm going with the free upgrade route and trying to get better at riding so I can work out the deficiencies of the suspenders.
